About El Gazelle Hummus

At El Gazelle, our story begins long before the hummus is made. It begins in the quiet of the Jordan Valley, where our family has tended the same olive grove for over 80 years.

Every October, during harvest season, our olives are handpicked with care, just as they have been for generations.

We care for our grove without pesticides or chemicals. Bees move through the trees, supporting pollination. Scarecrows stand watch in the fields. The soil is nurtured, not stripped. Everything is done with intention, patience, and respect for the natural cycle.

This olive oil is at the heart of every bowl we serve.

Our hummus is 100% vegan, gluten-free, preservative-free, and made from whole, natural ingredients. Honest farm-to-table food, prepared fresh and made to order.

Our Story

Unsatisfied with the hummus options around us, we decided to make it ourselves.

It took 9 months of experimenting with garbanzo beans (raw chickpeas), organic tahini (sesame paste), Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and preparation methods to get the perfect hummus that tasted like The Old Country.

Each chickpea is cared for from start to finish.
This is our journey to perfecting the art and taste of hummus.
